Thanks Gillian & Chris Shipard 1st June Brig O Doon Hotel ----- Hi Calum & Graham Just wanted to send this to tell the pair of you that you were absolutely amazing at our wedding night on the 24th of May 2009. Not only did you play our 1st song beautifully but, every song after that was played throughout the night was perfect. I genuinely could not believe how many people came up to myself & Debra and commented on how good you guys were, you even had our 2 friends that were getting married in 6 months time book yourselves THAT NIGHT! I would highly recommend ‘Rumour Has It’ to anyone for any special occasion. Thanks again to both of you for a superb night and we would definitely have yourselves play at any other special occasion that we may have in the future. Thanks Debra & Neil Morrison ----- We both know Graeme and Calum from way back and know they're both great singers, Gillian had always said she wanted wee G to sing at her wedding (and now he has!). When we heard they had set up a wedding band it was one thing less for us to stress about to book for the big day, as we knew straight away we wanted them to play at our reception. The guys set up very quickly and efficiently.
The first song we requested was Michael
Buble - Everything, which was a great version!!!! Guests commented later
that Calums singing was so perfect that they thought they were playing the
CD!!!
Graeme and Calum offered us a huge
selection of songs to start the night off with, ranging from Rod Stewart -
Have I told you lately, to Daniel Merriweather - Red (again a superb piece
from Calum). Their set was a varied mix of oldies from the start which got
the guests up dancing straight away and the dance floor was never empty the
whole night. They changed it later to more modern music which again suited
everyone. They even allowed us to interupt their set for a request for
Graeme to sing U2 - With or without you (he's brilliant at this - ask him
for it!!). The guys also have a wee dance routine during the songs which was
another nice touch.
Overall, these guys are brilliant and we
can recommend them for anyone else looking to book a wedding band! A few
guests at our wedding even said they wanted to book them for their weddings!
They are both friendly, enthusiastic guys and willing to work around
your needs for your big day.
Can we just say again, thanks for
playing at our wedding and making it a special day for us, you guys were
superb!

----- Rumour has it were
excellent! They provided a great mix of music for all ages and had everyone up
dancing, even those I never expected would dance. They had great voices
and looked very smart in their kilts. I booked them whilst they were performing
at my friends wedding 6 months previous to ours after having heard them perform
first hand. I wasnt diappointed on my big day and would definetly recommend
them. Guaranteed great night!' ----- My husband and I (Gary & Emma Allison) had our reception at the Gailes Hotel in Irvine on or return on Friday 17th October. Rumour Has It were fantastic and created a great atmosphere for us and all our guests. The song choices were excellent and varied to suit all with the voices excellent! Many guests asked who the band were as they thought they were fab also. It was a nice touch as both the boys had dressed up in kilts for the occasion. It was a great night! played at our wedding reception at Lochside House Hotel in July and they
made it a really fantastic night. The music was a real mix that had young
and old up having a great time on the dance floor. The dance floor was
packed the whole night. The guests were very impressed with the band and
several people wanted to book them for their own events.
